Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees Meeting – 11/12/2024

(Havre) The Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees met on Tuesday.

The meeting heard the Pax Pledge recited by many of the students in the Pax program in Lincoln McKinley, as well as Jean Murphy being announced as this months recipient of the Pony Pride Award.

Lesli Adams presented on the districts mental health services, noting that some in the middle schools therapy services will be filled using the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch program.

Investment strategy was finalized during this meeting, and the district will be investing around 2 million dollars into a short term investment plan.

The district also passed an agreement with the school bus drivers.

HPS will also be submitting more information with the Montana Office of Public Instruction in order to solidify their regular accreditation status, which will then hold for the next three years.
