(Havre) – In a press release to New Media Broadcasters, Havre Public Schools has announced the following.
It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we inform you of the death of Havre Public Schools District Superintendent Craig Mueller who passed away on October 22nd, 2022. We are grateful for Mr. Mueller’s leadership and passion for the education and passion for education of students at Havre Public Schools for the past decade. We ask that you keep his family and everyone who loved him in your thoughts and prayers, while also respecting their privacy during this incredibly difficult time.
There will be no school on Monday, October 24th, 2022. Support personnel will be available for students and staff in each building that may require assistance. On Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, school will resume.
The Board of Trustees and administrative team will be working to ensure the School District continues operations to provide instruction and services to students. Counselors and grief assistance will be available to students and staff. Further announcements will be forthcoming when additional information is available.
