HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre Public Schools Superintendent Craig Mueller has sent out several press releases in the last few days as the District continues to report COVID-19 cases associated with the District.
The latest release, sent on Monday morning, says that an individual associated with the District had tested positive for COVID-19. The individual last had contact with the District’s students and staff at Lincoln McKinley on Tuesday, September 29th. They have not been at school since, but the individual was in contact with the District’s students and staff during the period of possible exposure.
Those that were at risk of exposure have or will be contacted by the Hill County Health Department to determine a safe and appropriate course of action.
On Sunday morning, the District was notified that three individuals associated with the District had tested positive for COVID-19. The individuals were not in contact with the District’s students and staff during the period of possible exposure, and last had contact with others in the District at Havre High School and Havre Middle School on Tuesday, September 22nd. Since the cases were confirmed during quarantine and the individuals were away from the District for a significant amount of time, contact tracing is not necessary.
On Saturday evening, the District was notified that a person associated with the District had tested positive for COVID-19. Staff and students were in contact with the individual during the period of possible exposure.
The individual was last in contact with others in the District at Sunnyside Elementary on Friday, October 2nd.
Those at risk of exposure will or have been contacted by the Health Department to determine a safe and appropriate course of action.
Havre Public Schools has now reported seven total COVID-19 cases associated with the District. They remain in a hybrid learning model, and continue to follow CDC guidelines.
