Havre Resident Wins Lottery Prize

(Montana Lottery) – Since August 11th, the Montana Lottery has awarded more than $230,000 in high tier prizes valued at $600 or more.

Among them was a Havre resident who claimed a prize of $11,242 from a ticket purchased on August 11 at the Oxford Bar, from playing Shake a Day.

Other prizes of $5000 or more were a Billings resident winning a $5000 prize from a Lucky for Life ticket, a player in Butte winning $175,000 on a Crossword Supreme ticket, and a player in Livingston, claiming a $5000 Lucky for Life prize.

Since forming in 1986 by citizen’s referendum, the Montana Lottery has paid out over $1.06 billion dollars in prizes, $104.5 million in sales agent commissions, and more than $360 million to the state of Montana.
