HAVRE, Mont. — About 160 Havre area residents participated in a peaceful protest Saturday as part of the nationwide No Kings Day of Action.
The demonstration, held in response to a parade celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday, called for the protection of civil rights and public services.
Organizers criticized what they described as authoritarian actions by the president and emphasized the importance of democracy.
The event was one of many held across all 50 states, with a focus on nonviolent protest and community safety.
