(Havre) – The Havre Education Association will be hosting the five individuals running for the three open seats on the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees tonight 7pm at the Hensler Auditorium on the campus of MSU-Northern. Forum Organizer and HEA member Lindsay Ratliff explains why the Havre Education Association is hosting this forum.
“Well, we think it’s really important that the community get an opportunity to hear from the candidates personally. But it will give the public an idea about the background, the priorities and the relevant experience of all the candidates. So, this is a really good opportunity for the public to learn and hear from who’s going to be representing them with their tax dollars and their children.“-Ratliff
The five candidates running for election to the three open positions are current board members Tim Scheele and Curtis Smeby, and newcomers Tim Brurud, Tyler Gibson and Kevin Johnson
