Havre Tennis Results – State Tournament Day 2

After surviving the opening day of the 2024 MHSA State Class ‘A’ Tennis Tournament, the doubles duo of Carter and Max Spangler won their first match on Friday.

The brothers knocked out Hardin’s No. 1 seeded doubles team, who had beaten Havre’s No. 4 seeded team of Carter Chagnon and Mason Kinsella on Thursday in the opening match. Carter and Max had their back, getting the revenge that was needed to propel them into the title game, winning (6-3, 6-3).

In the title game, the partners matched up with Billings Central Catholic’s No. 2 team, Braydon Petermann and Aiden Sorenson. The magic ran out for the Spangler brothers as they were dropped in straight sets, (6-1, 6-1), finishing second in the entire MHSA State Class ‘A’ field for the 2024 season.

Congratulations to the Spangler brothers, Mason Kinsella, Carter Chagnon, Jackson Headdress, and the rest of the Blue Pony boys’ and girls’ tennis players on competing all season long and giving maximum effort until the very end.
