Havre to hold Hunter Education courses.

(Havre) Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Hunter Education classroom course dates have been set for the Havre area for this year.

There will be three youth classroom courses offered this year. The courses will be held at MSU-Northern at Cowan Hall, room 319, and are free of charge.

In-person, instructor-led hunter education classroom courses are available to anyone age 10 and older and provide new hunters with a hands-on learning experience, according to FWP. Students must be registered prior to attending a class or field course.

Class 1:
• Feb 20, 6-7 p.m.
• Feb 24-28, 6-9 p.m.- class
• March 1- field day/live shoot
Class 2:
• April 10, 6-7 p.m.- orientation
• April 14-18, 6-9 p.m.- class
• April 19- field day/live shoot
Class 3:
• May 1, 6-7 p.m.- orientation
• May 5-9, 6-9 p.m.- class
• May 10- field day/live shoot
