HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Toys for Tots Program is entering its fourth year of serving the local community.
Local organizer Jennifer Tilleman says donation boxes will be located at several area businesses from November 22nd through December 15th.
Tilleman says they are the only organization in the area that provides toys to children of all ages, and they are especially focused on ensuring older children and infants have presents over the holiday season.
“We do ask for new and unwrapped presents only. And used toys cannot be accepted. Because toys are a focus for the drive, we do ask not to add any clothing items in there. And any monetary donations must be made payable to the Toys for Tots program.”
Last year, 80 children received toys through the program, and Tilleman says Havre Toys for Tots is once again partnering with the Salvation Army as they hope to meet demand once again.
Drop-off locations are Edward Jones, Pacific Steel and Recycling, Havre Ford, Bergren Transmission, Independence Bank, and Hi-Line Rental.
