HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that this year’s Tree Lighting will be held virtually.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 5th on the Chamber’s Facebook page.
During the event, the winners for the Super Certificate Giveaway will be drawn.
The Tree Lighting typically takes place in person at the Town Square on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but the Chamber has changed things up due to COVID-19 concerns and restrictions.
The Tree Lighting ceremony usually features the Havre High School Choir, local vendors, and an appearance from Santa Claus. It is unclear if any of these traditions will be featured in the virtual event.
