Havre High volleyball had a dominating week, sweeping Browning, Malta, and Sidney, all while dropping minimal sets. New Media Broadcasters asked varsity head coach Cassie Krueger what she saw from her team, as well as when she was watching JV and C-Squad competing.
“It feels amazing,” Krueger said. “The girls have really put in their effort this last week with working as a team and building up the program from the bottom up.”
“I think (that) really showed this past week with the entire program,” Krueger continued.
Riding this wave will be interesting in this stretch of time, as the Lady Ponies will have just one more match each to close out the regular season. Coach Krueger shared the universal messages to her teams as they go into Miles City to end the campaign on a high note.
“I just want to see the entire season come together,” Krueger said. “Everything that we’ve been working on from offense to defense.”
“(I just want to see the) team building and energy come together from C-Squad, JV, and varsity,” Krueger continued.
The over-five-hour bus ride to Custer County will have all three Havre teams traveling to play the Cowgirls in volleyball this Friday. C-Squad gets it started at 1pm, followed by JV at 2pm and varsity at 4pm.
