HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – A Havre woman was arrested on Friday morning after being charged with felony criminal mischief for breaking into and vandalizing a local car wash.
According to the Havre City Court documents, Sheila Eve Walker was arrested by Havre Police near Blue Bear Car Wash after being recorded on surveillance video the previous evening causing damage to the establishment.
Damage done to the car wash includes two broken cameras and a mail box, torn down dry wall, and a busted water pipe that led to flooding of the laundromat and store room. The business owner estimates the damage at $4,325.
Walker was also charged with three misdemeanors Friday, including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and theft. Walker is also currently facing seven other pending misdemeanor charges stemming from incidents on June 26 and June 30.
Walker is currently being held at Hill County Detention Center on a $5,585 bond. For the criminal mischief felony, Walker faces a maximum fine of $50,000 and 10 years imprisonment.
