The 77th annual Montana East-West Shrine football game took place in Billings on Saturday night. Havre’s Brisbin Reiter made an impact in the second half, playing linebacker for the East, but his team ran into a West offense that catapulted its way to a (48-20) victory and a fourth straight win in this special contest.
The West got out to a tremendous start, leading (28-0) at the half. The East responded with a touchdown early in the third and Reiter forced a fumble that led to another possession resulting in another touchdown to make it a (28-14) game. Reiter started the fourth quarter with a strong tackle, but the defense surrendered another TD. Not everything was on the East’s defense as the offense threw back-to-back pick-6’s to ice the game.
