HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – This weekend, a Women’s Expo will be held in the Ryan Building in Havre with dozens of vendors from across the state. Havre area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jody Olson says that while the Expo is geared towards women, everyone is invited to the event.
“It’s in the Ryan Building, in the old Serv-Ur-Self Furniture area. And last year we had like 60 vendors and 300 people going through, so we’re hoping it’s that good again. And, yeah, just a lot of different vendors. And, of course, it’s not just for women. You know, men and children are invited also. And it only costs you $1 or a can of food to get in.”
Olson says this is a large vendor event, with people coming from all over Montana.
“It’s all different vendors, you know. It’s everything from makeup, nails, blankets. You know, the Chamber will have a table there with some of our things on it. It’s just all different things. It’s vendors from, really all over the state. So, yeah, it’s different than just Havre people, so it’s a little bit bigger event.”
They will have prizes for the first 25 people through the door on both days. The 2019 Women’s Expo will run from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 10 AM to 3 PM on Sunday.
