HELENA, Mont. — Two Hi-Line residents are among this year’s recipients of the 2025 ServeMontana Awards, recognizing outstanding community volunteers across the state.
In Havre, Susan Swan received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her leadership and dedication to community service. Known as “Calling Tree Sue,” she’s recognized for organizing volunteers at local events and sending handmade gifts to those in need.
In Malta, Ken Wiederrick was also honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award for Veterans. He’s deeply involved in programs like Hunter Safety, EMT services, and local fundraising efforts–serving quietly and generously in his community.
The awards were presented Friday at the State Capitol in Helena.
