(Havre) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met for their weekly business meeting on October 10th.
The meeting started with the reading of one resignation letter followed by the hiring of four dispatchers for the Hill County Sheriff’s Office.
The structure that determines county pay, referred to as the Pay Matrix, had a set of motions approved around it this meeting. The first was to rescind a previous motion that would give all current employees a two dollar and sixteen cent raise.
Following that, the commissioners passed two more motions to reinstate that raise, but with language that was meant to be more clear.
The meeting ended with the approval of claims and payroll, the next meeting is scheduled for October 17th.
