HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Commission met on Thursday morning and announced a series of appointments and resignations.
The Commission announced the resignation of Aubrey Williams as Assistant to the Park Superintendent, effective April 23rd. The Commission has already put out an advertisement seeking a replacement.
The Commission also announced four appointments to fill the vacant spots on the Great Northern Fair Board. Lex Keller and Bob Sivertsen were appointed to terms that expire in 2024, Daryl Wright II was appointed to a term that expires in 2023, and Bob Kaul was appointed to a term that expires in 2022.
This comes after three members of the Fair Board, including Chair Bobbie Dolphay and Vice-Chair Chelby Gooch, stepped down at the last meeting, effective immediately. A term for a fourth seat recently expired as well, with incumbent Ron Konesky deciding not to seek another term.
A new Chair is expected to be selected at the Fair Board’s regular monthly meeting next week.
Also on Thursday, it was announced that MSU-Extension with Hill County will have a Family and Consumer Sciences Agent beginning on May 3rd. The name of the new hire has not been formally announced. The hire will be filling a position that has been vacant since September, when Jasmine Carbajal took a job out of state.
Other action announced by the Commission on Thursday:

Approval of an agreement to continue ambulance services has remained on the Commission’s agenda for weeks, and continues to be tabled as language is ironed out
