(Havre) – The Hill County Commission had their regular weekly meeting on Thursday with a full agenda. The commissioners approved Tax Payer Abatements for two people and made adjustments to the budgets of the Hill County Sheriff’s Department and HIll County Health Department.
The commission approved four contracts at the meeting, an Actuarial services agreement with HUB International Great Plains, An agreement with RDT services for county employee drug testing and an agreement for Excess Medical Insurance and/or Claims Contract for Inmates at the Hill County Detention Center.
Next, the commissioners approved the Hill County Road Departments request to spend $13,815.10 for new grader blades. Finally, Commission Chair Jake Strissel announced that a public hearing will take place in the community center on the Great Northern Fairgrounds on November 12th at 6pm about a potential wastewater system improvements for the West Havre area including post road estates.
