Hill County Commission Meeting

(Havre) – The Hill County Commission met for their weekly business meeting on Thursday July 23rd.

During the meeting the commission passed items that include, the annual contract for random drug testing services in the county, a computer assisted note taking program for commissioner meetings for the clerk and recorder, authorized $10,695.11 from the Great Northern Fair for improvements to the fairgrounds, A contract with DIS technologies to install panic buttons throughout the county, and a contract with Time Clock Plus for eleven time clocks to be installed throughout county facilities.

The county also read the notice of a public hearing to be held about the establishment of a county road in Township 29 North Range 16 East, and they announced that the rate for 2026 Beaver Creek irrigation will be rising from $10.50 per acre feet to $20 per acre feet.
