(Havre) – At the Hill County Commission meeting last week, the commissioners voted to declare a drought emergency in Hill County. Commission chairman Jake Strissel tells us who they visited and why the Hill County Commission declared this drought emergency.
“We talked with our Representatives. Representative Eric Albus, Paul Tuss and Russ Tempel, and we decided that we should really take care of our ranchers and farmers. By declaring a drought emergency for Hill County that opens up some doors for our local area ranchers and farmers to get supplemental service for drought.”
