The unofficial Hill County Election results are in!
In the Race for Hill County Commissioner, District 2 Democrat Sheri Williams earned 1880 votes unseating Republican Incumbent Commissioner Diane McClean who had 1781 votes. Independent Les Odegard finished with 1415 votes.
The Senate District 14 in Hill County race saw Incumbent Republican Russ Tempel defeat Democrat challenger David Brewer 2726 to 1310.
IN the race for Montana House District 28, Democrat Paul Tuss defeated incumbent Republican State Representative Ed Hill 1785 to 1477. and in the House District 33 race in Hill County incumbent Casey Knudson with 266 votes and Democrat Jordan Ophus with 167 votes.
On the question asking if Hill County Justice of the Peace Audrey Barger should be retained for another term? The Yea’s were 4323 and the Nay’s were 475
County Ballot initiatives saw the Mill Levy for the Lodge at Beaver Creek Park pass 2601 to 2415. The Hill County Local Marijuana Local Option Excise Tax passed 3791 to 1215.
The City of Havre Ballot Initiative to change the form of government from a mayor council to city manager-council form of government failed with 1517 voting against and 1396 voting for.
