HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – On Wednesday, January 16th, the Hill County Health Department will be holding a Foodborne Illness Table Top Exercise to help clarify roles, responsibilities and create better understanding of what would happen during a Public Health Incident like this.
A press release says this is an opportunity to address key elements of local response to an emerging foodborne illness outbreak within Hill County. The exercise will run from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Boys and Girls Club of the Hi-Line and lunch will be provided. People who want to participate need to register for the event by January 2nd.
During the exercise, they will activate the public health emergency response plans, engage local public health partners in an exercise to clarify roles in the response, and identify gaps and strengths in the emergency preparedness plans.
