HAVRE, Mont. — The Hill County Health Department is investigating a suspected measles case with possible public exposures at several locations between June 5 and June 8, including Northern Montana Health Care’s ER, Walmart, and other local businesses.
Officials say the case is not linked to any previous ones.
People who were at the listed locations during those times may have been exposed.
Those without immunity are at high risk and should check their vaccination status.
Measles is highly contagious and spreads through the air and on surfaces.
If you develop symptoms, stay home and contact your provider.
The MMR vaccine remains the best protection.
