Hill County Library Announces Contactless Book Pickup Service

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Library announced Monday, April 27 the public can now check out library materials without coming into physical contact with library personnel.

Library Director Rachel Rawn said the community will have access to the library’s full catalog online and once they have made a selection, all they have to do is schedule their curbside pickup.

“We are just starting to do sort of a curbside delivery. People can call us or email us and let us know what materials they want to check out and we can arrange a time for them to come pick them up.”

Rawn said the public can also access a large e-book and e-audio collection through Montana Library 2 Go even if they don’t have a current library card.

“We have a pretty large digital collection and even if people don’t already have a library card, they can sign up for a virtual library card. So, if you go to our website and click on the Montana Library To Go link that’s how you can access that collection.”

To schedule a pickup call 406-265-2123 or email Library@HavreHill.org.
