(Hill County) The Hill County Park Board held their monthly board meeting on Monday, June 2nd in the Hill County Court House.
The board heard two matters of cabin business.
Board is still pursuing donations to fund the construction of the Beaver Lodge. They received another $50,000 donation in the last month to go towards that project.
Pam Wilson has resigned from the Park Board effective June 2nd.
Tony Reum was elected as vice chairman of the Hill County Park Board, after a tie breaker vote from Chairman Jeff Jensen.
Seasonal employee dates were established.
Park Administrative Assistant Danielle Eldeidge was officially changed to be designated as a full time employee.
The grazing committee is recommending to advertise haying recommendations immediately.
Park usage has been very busy so far due to the warmer weather according to Park Superintendent Chad Edgar.
Park advises that public leave alone baby deer, even though they may seem helpless.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 7th
