HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Health Department was notified of 15 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, had 26 people meet the recovery criteria and had one case require hospitalization.
It marks the second straight day in which Hill County reported double-digit new cases.
Hill County has now reported 1,648 total COVID-19 cases. 42 are active, including three hospitalizations. 1,569 have recovered and 37 have died.
Also on Friday, the Rocky Boy Health Center announced that they would be moving to Phase 2 of their COVID-19 vaccination plan on Monday.
Phase two includes elders over the age of 60, with priority based on age and medical conditions. RBHC has already begun contacting those that are eligible.
Blaine County
Meanwhile, Blaine County reported one new COVID-19 case on Friday and had eight people meet the recovery criteria.
Their total case count is at 608. 8 are active, including a hospitalization. 577 have recovered and 23 have died.
Chouteau County
Chouteau County does not provide daily case updates, but they announced on Thursday evening that their active case count stood at 32, with 56 people in quarantine after being identified as close contacts.
Two of the active cases are hospitalized and they have previously reported four COVID-19 deaths.
They add that there are people refusing to cooperate with their directions, but did not provide further details.
