HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Hill County reported 31 new cases of COVID-19 and three COVID-19 related deaths on Friday.
The age range with the most new cases was people in their teens, with 10 (5 males, 5 females).
25 of the new cases were found through contact tracing and six currently have unknown exposures.
Also on Friday, 15 people met the criteria to be considered recovered and two previously announced cases required hospitalization.
Seven of the new cases appear to be associated with Havre Public Schools. The District remains in remote learning through at least October 27th. A Board meeting is scheduled for that afternoon to discuss whether to move back to some form of in-person learning.
Since Monday, Hill County has reported 154 COVID-19 cases and eight COVID-19 related deaths.
Hill County has now reported 701 total COVID-19 cases. 277 are active, including 15 hospitalizations. 403 are recovered and 21 have died.
Blaine County reported four new COVID-19 cases on Friday. They have reported 266 total cases of the virus. 139 are active, including 13 hospitalizations. 124 have recovered and three have died.
