Hill County Reports 33 New COVID-19 Cases on Monday, 4 New Hospitalizations

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Health Department reported 33 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, one short of the daily record set last Thursday.

In addition, 21 people met the criteria for recovery, but four previously announced cases now require hospitalization.

Of the 33 new cases, 24 were identified through contact tracing and nine currently have unknown exposure.

As the increasing case count continues, the Health Department is urging the public to stop holding and attending large events, to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible, and to stay home if you are sick.

Hill County has reported 402 total COVID-19 cases. 167 are active, including seven hospitalizations. 228 have recovered and seven have died.

Blaine County

Meanwhile, the Blaine County Health Department reported one new case of COVID-19 on Monday, while 14 cases met the criteria to be considered recovered.

The Health Department says that to continue to have days where recoveries outnumber new cases, they need the community to continue to do their part by following guidelines and recommendations.

Blaine County has reported 146 total COVID-19 cases. 74 are active, including three hospitalizations. 70 have recovered and two have died.
