Hill County Reports 42 New COVID-19 Cases on Tuesday

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Hill County Health Department received notice of 42 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.

Some of the cases reported Tuesday include cases that were confirmed Saturday, Sunday and Monday that were reported to the Health Department late Monday night. This is presumably because of the fact that Rocky Boy did not report cases on Saturday and Sunday, and their report on Monday came after Hill County had already filed their daily report.

Of the 42 cases, 30 were found through contact tracing and 12 have unknown exposures.

The age range with the most new cases is people under the age of 10, with nine (6 males, 3 females); followed by eight cases in people in their 20’s (3 males, 5 females), seven cases in people in their 30’s (5 males, 2 females), and six cases in teenagers (4 males, 2 females).

Also on Tuesday, Hill County had 19 people meet the recovery criteria and had three cases require hospitalization.

Hill County has now reported 1,281 total COVID-19 cases. 240 are active, including six hospitalizations. 1,010 have recovered and 31 have died.
