(Hill County) The Hill County Safety Committee met on January 28th for their monthly meeting.
The injury claims among Hill County Employees is trending downwards when looking at the last 5 years. The most common injury for a county employee was a slip, trip, or fall claim; the most common claims happened among people that were in their first year of employment.
The County is also continuing their plans to hold a safety fair for county employees this year, with tentative plans being for May. The committee has also said that they may open the fair to the public in future installments if it goes well amongst county employees.
