HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Havre Fire Chief Mel Paulson says that an RV was totaled and a home suffered extensive damage due to a fire on Monday morning.
The Havre Fire Department was dispatched to the incident at the 1200 block of Grant Avenue at 4:38 AM. The fire started in an RV in a driveway, then the house caught on fire due to exposure to the flames.
Paulson says there was one adult in the RV and two adults in the home at the time of the fire, but all got out safely.
Paulson says the RV is a total loss and the home appears to have suffered extensive damage.
Two ambulances, three trucks and 14 personnel responded. Firefighters remained on scene until around 8 AM. The scene has since been cleared.
It is unclear at this time how the fire started.
