(Helena) – The 2025 Hoops for a Cause 3-on-3 basketball tournament fundraiser, hosted by the Frontier Conference has a date, location, and this year’s recipient.
The event will take place at the P.E. Center on the campus of Carroll College on Sunday August 3rd. This years Hoops for a Cause recipient is Carroll College Men’s Basketball player Cam Niles. While at Carroll College Niles suffered from a severe fever which placed him in the hospital for three weeks. Cam returned home to California where he was diagnosed Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma a form of blood cancer. Niles underwent six rounds of treatment and lost 70 pounds. He plans on returning to the court and suit up for the Fighting Saints Men’s basketball team for the 2205-26 season. All funds raised by Hoops for a Cause will go towards Cam Niles to assist with the cost of his treatments. A go fund me page has also been set up for individuals to donate.
