(Havre) – Havre Public Schools has utilized a four day school week with support Friday’s for the past three years. Recently the district conducted a survey for feedback on how well this school year model is working. HPS Superintendent Brian Gum provides details of the survey.

The Havre Public Schools Calendar Committee is diligently working to finalize the 2026-27 school year calendar. Gum told New Media Broadcasters that that calendar will include the support Friday model for the next school year and it will be presented to the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees for approval at the March regular board meeting.
