HPS In Need of Relief Bus Drivers

(Havre) – At the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees meeting Tuesday night, Transportation and Facilities director Scott Fillius, gave a report on the Bus Driver situation and the need for relief bus drivers. Havre Public Schools Superintendent Craig Mueller spoke with New Media Broadcasters and provides further details. “Going into the year we knew with a reduced number of routes was one way that we hoped to address the issue of not having enough route drivers. Our route drivers have gone above and beyond for the past several years and we’ve stretched that department rather thin. We are in dire need of relief drivers, when they need a break and when they need to attend to their own personal business and appointments, we have individuals that are qualified and licensed to step up into that area.”
