(HPS) Havre Public Schools is undergoing their accreditation data gathering process to submit to the Montana Office of Public Instruction, which will mark the second time they’ve done so this year.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Superintendent of HPS Brian Gum.
“We’re making sure that we have everything fitting together so that we can move forward and hopefully achieve regular status again, which is the level that you want to be at. And then, if we receive regular status for district wide, then we wouldn’t have to handle the accreditation process except for on a three-year term”
Havre Public Schools already received regular status district wide earlier this year, but OPI is asking that schools send in more data before February 28th to confirm those numbers.
