HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – District 4 of the Human Resources Development Council’s Victim Services have been suspended due to a staffing shortage.

This includes the local crisis line. Victims of violence are encouraged to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233.

Other Victim Services HRDC provides includes advocacy and assisting with orders of protection. Prior to the pandemic, they had also been helping to provide supervised visitation and anger management.

The announcement was made Friday by District 4 Executive Director Carilla French on Friday, saying that they “sincerely apologize for the great inconvenience this will bring to the community.” She says a new Program Director will begin employment soon and they hope to resume services by the end of November.
