Increased 4H Revenue discussed at Fair Board Meeting

HAVRE, MT (NMB) The Great Northern Fair Board held their monthly business meeting at the community center at the Great Northern Fairgrounds Tuesday evening.

The Civic Groups report showed 4H sales were up compared to last year for a total of $257,399, despite the number of animals down from last year. A full disclosure of this year’s fair’s totals is expected to be compiled in time for September’s meeting.

It was disclosed that maintenance of the fair grounds and upgrading the bathrooms was still ongoing.

In the Fair manager’s report it was noted that upgrades to the fair’s website was still needed. Also mentioned was the inside rodeo barn arena needed newer dirt and fill for the upcoming event dates, including the Wyldman Rodeo and Black Hawk Concert, both at Festival Days.

No items were voted on. The next meeting will be September 20th at 5:30PM.
