HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – Indian Health Services (IHS) announced Monday, April 20 the Federal Register increased reimbursement rates for Medicare and Medicaid.
This reimbursement rate increase is for ancillary visits as well as inpatient and outpatient Medicaid and outpatient Medicare visits.
The Inpatient Hospital Per Diem rate is now $3,675. The Medicaid Outpatient Hospital Per Visit Rate is now $479. The Medicare Outpatient Per Visit rate is $427 and the Medicare Part B Inpatient Ancillary Per Diem Rate is $838.
These rates were provided under the Federal Medical Care Recovery Act and they exclude physician and practitioner service fees.
These rates are not applicable in Alaska.
