(Havre) – Tuesday night people can watch the Havre Jaycees fireworks display which will be launching from the Great Northern fairgrounds. Kevin Holmes chair with Havre Jaycees explains the process to set up the show.
“What we do is, we have our fireworks booth up at the Great Northern Fairgrounds and all of the fireworks that are sold in our booth go towards putting on the night display for the next year in the community. So, what to expect this year is our pyrotech, his name is Jason Murie, he’s been wonderful about putting on the event for us every year. He actually got some new equipment this year. So, we’re actually really wilted to see what he can do and the choreography with all of the fireworks. We always try to max out his equipment that way the community is getting their biggest bang for their buck that they are investing in our booth and their faith in us that we’re putting on a good sow for them. So, we really hope we’re able to deliver that this year.”-Holmes
Kevin also talks about when the display will be visible.
“Generally, our night display starts after ten o’clock or whenever it gets dark. We usually shoot testers up into the air to see how dark it is and to see if the best visual is going to be happening at that moment. So, usually it’s sometime after ten o’clock. Between ten and the thirty.“-Holmes
