(Havre) – Professional football’s big game is on Sunday. Many people order take out to enjoy during the game. Hill County MSU-Extension Family and Consumer Sciences agent Kati Purkett, has a tip on keeping your takeout safe on Sunday.

“If you’re getting takeout food from restaurants, if you’re transporting it when it’s hot, that you transport it in a insulated bag if you can. We also want to make sure that you keep that food over one hundred forty degrees. So, the temperature danger zone is the area in which bacteria grows the most and that temperature danger zone is forty degrees to one hundred forty degrees.”
