Kegel Says New MSU President Will be Good for Northern

(Havre) – Montana State University has a new president in Dr. Brock Tessman. Chancellor Greg Kegel of MSU-Northern told New Media Broadcasters why collaborative help form MSU in Bozeman would help MSU-Northern.

“That’s the kind of help that you’d really be looking for, it’s a shared service support, they’ve got services down there. If they can share a little bit of their services. And I can tell you that he’s very much in favor of any of those types of things that help assist this campus. So, I think President Tessman is going to be good for Northern.”

Tessman began his tenure in Bozeman on July 1st. He was previously President of Northern Michigan University and spent four years as Deputy Commissioner of Higher Education for the Montana University System.
