Knudsen files 50th lawsuit against Biden administration.

(Montana) Attorney General of Montana Austin Knudsen filed his 50th lawsuit against the Biden Administration on Tuesday.

Knudsen’s lawsuit is challenging the new rule out of the White House that would revoke federal funding from healthcare providers if they were deemed discriminatory based on “gender identity”, which is a change in wording from previous title 9 protections from discrimination based on sex.

Attorney General Knudsen argues in the lawsuit that the final rule exceeds the White Houses’s authority and asks the Court to determine the final rule unlawful and enjoin the federal government from enforcing the rule.

Montana’s Senate Bill 99 forbids anyone from knowingly providing surgical procedures to address a minor’s perception that their gender differs from their biological sex, which Knudsen says forces providers to choose between their federal funding and breaking state law.
