Lights and Skylights Win Big over Alberta-Augustana

(NMB) The MSU Northern Lights and Skylights both won big over Alberta-Augustana on Thursday Night.

In the Women’s game, the Skylights led 17-15 after one quarter and had a ten-point lead, 39-29 at halftime. The Skylight defense only gave up 17 points in the second half and won by a final score of 69-46. Briaunna McCullough led the Skylight with a double-double 17 points and 13 rebounds. She also led the team is assists with 8. Sydney Hanson added 16 points and six rebounds. Savannah Toms contributed 10 points off the bench. The Skylight are back on the floor Friday night, 7pm in the Armory vs Cambellesville-Harrodsburgh.

 

The Lights shot 53 percent from the floor, 41 percent from behind the arc and cruised to a 105-53 victory. Dae’Kwon Watson had 17 points and 4 assists. TJ Reynolds was in double figure finishing the game with 11 points on 3 of 5 shooting from the field. Zackry Martinez had 14 points and four steals. The Lights will play November 19th and 20th in Tacoma, Washington versus Puget Sound University and Pacific Lutheran University.
