(NMB) Head Coach Shawn Huse and the MSU Northern Lights Basketball team get their season going this Friday and Saturday night against King’s University and the University of Lethbridge. The Lights had a 19 and 13 record last year and ended the season in the Frontier Conference Semi-finals. As these first games approach Coach Huse likes the Chemistry and leadership but is still working some of the new guys into the mix.
“The Chemistry is great, they get along wonderfully, the leadership is fantastic, but you’re still getting some new guys that you want in the mix up to speed. It’s probably only going to take games like these openers to get that experience together and start to become a lot more smooth with our execution.”
The Lights open Friday Night at 8pm at Havre High School against King’s University and will be in the Armory gym Saturday for a 7pm tip off versus The University of Lethbridge.
