Havre, MT – Montana State University-Northern Lights basketball and head coach Shawn Huse announced the signing of Jonny Gasologa, a transfer from Cabrillo Community College in Aptos California.
Gasologa is a 6’7″ forward that averaged 11 points per game while shooting over 45 percent from behind the arc earning him a first team All-conference selection.
Coach Huse said Jonny will be a valuable and experienced addition to the program. “Great fit, very versatile. He’s got good size good length, very athletic, and most importantly just a great teammate, great guy, great hard worker, a leader. He’s somebody whose appreciative, hungry, just ready to get out there and get to work with our returners. That’s what we really like bout him.”
Gasologa’s efforts helped the Cabrillo Seahawks to a 20-win season. Jonny is a Kearns Utah native (near Salt Lake City) who had his senior season cut short due to injury. Jonny plans on studying Integrated Health Science in his time with the Lights.
