(NMB) The MSU Northern Lights basketball team was in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday and Sunday and picked up two more wins. On Saturday the Lights defeated Puget Sound University 80 to 63. The Lights shot 46 percent from the field in the first half, led by 8 at the break and never looked back in the 17-point victory. Tanner McCliment-Call led the Lights with 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting from the field. Zackry Martinez added 13 points in the win. On Sunday Jesse Keltner sank two free throws with nine seconds remaining in the game and the Lights beat Pacific Lutheran University 51-49. Keltner finished the game with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assist and 2 blocks. The Lights are now 6 and 0 on the year and are in Missoula Tuesday night for an exhibition game against the Grizzlies.
