(NMB) The MSU Northern Lights basketball team was in Missoula Tuesday night for an exhibition game against the University of Montana Grizzlies. The Final score, Griz 63 Lights 51. Northern trailed 33 to 20 at the half but made 5 of their first 12 three point attempts to open the second half to make things interesting but could not get any closer than 7 points. Tanner McCliment-Call led the Lights in scoring with 14, shooting 6 of 12 from behind the arc. Zackry Martinenz added 12 points and 4 assists. Jesse Keltner was also in double figures with 10 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. The Lights Shot 33 percent from the field and 29 percent from the three point line. The Lights open up Frontier Conference play Next Thursday night against The University of Providence in Great Falls. Tip off is at 7pm.
