(Havre – Ira Bowman) – On Saturday Jun 7, at Tilleman field the MSU-Northern Lights football program will be hosting their summer skills camp for high school kids, grades 9 through 12. New Media Broadcasters spoke with Assistant Head Coach Dave Sandau who says the camp is all about evaluations and finding the hidden “Gems”.
“That one is going to look very similar to the Great Falls camp. We’re going to get out there, we’re going to get some measurements on the kids and then we’re going to start evaluating some guys. That’s freshman through seniors, trying to get some eyes on some guys early, we get out there and find some hidden gems is what we’re looking for.”
The skills camp will run from 11am to 2pm with check in starting at 10am. Each attendee is required to fill out a wavier and insurance sheets prior to the start of camp.
