Lights Sign Malta’s Bohdi Brenden to Play BB

MSU-Northern Coach Shawn Huse has announced the signing of 6’1” Guard Bohdi Brenden from Malta, Montana. Bohdi is 2x all sate team member who just recently led Malta High School

to the class B state semifinal game. Scoring 1,568 total points in his career at Malta, Bohdi was also 3x first team all-conference and was selected to play in the Montana Wyoming All-Star

game this year. This past season Bohdi averaged 20.2 PPG shooting 40.3% from three-point range, while also adding 4.6 APG and 2.7 SPG. Bohdi had an outstanding career at Malta High

School and will be a great addition to the Lights program moving forward. Coach Huse had this to say about Bohdi, “He is another guy who plays the game the right way. He has certainly put-up

great numbers, and he does it within the team concepts. Bohdi has great respect for the game, is very coachable, and is a selfless teammate. He plays winning basketball

and does it with great poise. I look forward to watching him compete and grow his game at the collegiate level.”. Bohdi has grown up on the ‘Hi-Line’ and is no stranger to the Northern

community, playing in Northern’s annual H.I.T tournament the past three years. Along with his abilities on the floor,

Bohdi is an avid outdoorsman who will fit right in with the various community activities and events surrounding Northern throughout the year. Coach Huse added, “Bohdi fits us well. He is a guy

who has great IQ on the court. He is a tough competitor who works well with his teammates, and for his teammates. Everyone who we know, that has been on a team with Bohdi, tells us how

much they love to play with him. His ability to shoot and make shots at a high percentage is unique, he has excellent quickness, and he sees the floor and finds his teammates with his passing

exceptionally well.”. Bohdi plans to study in the areas of business management, electrical technology and plumbing at MSU-Northern.
