Havre, MT – Montana State University Northern Skylights volleyball traveled to North Dakota and secured a 3-2 set victory over Dickinson State and a 3-0 sweep of Bismark State.
The skylights defeated Dickinson state with a 25-20 set one, a 25-19 win in set 4 and a 16-14 set five victory. Northern then traveled to Bismark State College and continued their momentum to a three-set sweep winning, 25-19, 25-10, 30-28.
The Skylights have now won four straight matches to reach 6-6 on the season and 4-2 in conference play which places them at number 6 in the conference standings.
The skylights are back in Havre this week to take on Dakota State on Friday, September 26, at 7p.m. and Bellevue University on Saturday, September 27, at 5p.m.
These are both big time matchup as Dakota state is highest receiving votes team not in the NAIA top-25 rankings and Bellevue sits at number five in the national polls.
